Berardi's artistic roots started in photography
when he began his career as a photographer at the Chicago American, then Chicago Today and finally the Chicago Tribune. He was Director of Photography and Chief Photographer of several newspapers including the Chicago Tribune. His images won national and
international awards, including
the J.C. Penney award for
best fashion photography.
Several
of his pictorials were hung at the
Hague, Netherlands.
In 1990 Tony began working
with oil paints and oil pastels under the tutelage of
